I had two options today.
Drive to the eastside and fish for pike, or the west side to fish trout.
I think i took the right choice :)
I had some new lures i had to try.
The name is "no name".
Its a Swedish handmade lure with good quality.
Southwesterly winds and high waterlevel are good conditions when to fish seatrouts here on Öland.
After two hours of fishing i had an heavy attack on long line.
When the fish is so close that i can se it i understand that its a really nice one.
Fat and shiny wiht a thick back.
When the fights is over and im just about to take it ashore the f---ing fish decided with the last energy to swin out again.
So you can guess what happend.
The hook went out and im standing on the shoreline and se the beautiful fish slowly swims out to the sea again.
Even that i catched four seatrouts just before.
I feel helpless and dejected after the fight.
I estimated the trout around 5kg.
After that i changed place and cathed another one around 50cm.
